MEET OUR LEADERS
Superintendent Moses Ray is the Founder and Pastor of the Holy Hill Church of God in Christ (C.O.G.I.C) where he has shepherd for 36 years and is the founder and Superintendent of the Hope District. He also served as the Pastor of Gordon C.O.G.I.C. for 15 years, retiring in 2022 and Ray of Hope C.O.G.I.C for over 13 years.
Superintendent Ray is married to District Missionary Katheryne M. Ray and is the father of three children. He is one of eight children born to District Missionary Lula Mae Ray (the founder of Ray of Hope C.O.G.I.C.). He graduated from the Calhoun consolidated High School in Irwinton, GA. After completing high school, he served for four years in the U.S. Air Force. Supt. Ray also attended Atlanta Area Technical School for several trades and attended Greenleaf College of Computer Programing. He worked for the United States Postal Service for 32 years before retiring.
Superintendent Moses Ray has been recognized as one of the C.O.G.I.C 100 Influential Pastors, pictured in The Whole Truth Magazine (July/August 2014 issue). He was the Episcopal Adjutant to the late Bishop Jack Stephens. He has also served as the chairman of two Districts, Lakewood and Irwinton Districts. He currently serves as one of the Administrator’s Assistant of SGSEJ.
Superintendent Ray is a loving, caring, and giving person. He is truly a servant leader, with a heart for God and God's people.
Missionary Katheryne Ray is the elect lady of Holy Hill C.O.G.I.C.
She serves as the president of the Minister's Wives Circle at Holy Hill and District Missionary of the Hope District.
She has an exceptional gift for working with kids and demonstrates this in her role as vice-president of the Sunshine Band at the state jurisdictional level as well as the local Macon district for Gordon C.O.G.I.C. She is indeed a woman of many hats, serving humbly alongside her husband and pastor.
